Grantham Journal letter: £418 raised for St Wulfram’s spire appeal
I would like to say a big thank you to the staff and customers of Sainsbury’s store in Grantham.
We did a bag pack last Saturday, to help to raise money for St Wulfram’s Spire Appeal and we raised £418.92.
I would also like to thank the helpers who gave their time.
The Spire Appeal still has a long way to go before we have raised enough money to repair the oldest and most historic building in Grantham.
The support of the people of Grantham is very much appreciated. May this continue during the coming year, when we need to raised approximately £250,000, on top of the English Heritage Lottery grant money, so that the work can be carried out in 2014.
