Corby Glen and district £990.67, Colsterworth, Buckminster and surrounding villages £1,015.81, the two ladies who knitted poppies - Mrs M Moore donated £50 and a lady who wishes to remain anonymous £72, to Cath and committee of the Buckminster Horse Trials £250, to all who collected door-to-door, to all churches for their Remembrance Day collections - St Wulfram’s £664.29, St Peter’s Denton £35, Ropsley £363.40, St John’s £23.22, St Mary’s £37.25, Barkston £152.96, Corby GLen £195.20, Knipton £51.32, Croxton Kerrial £130.06 and to all schools, clubs, shops and banks who had collecting tins. Thanks must also go to Mr and Mrs Church, Mr B. Turner, Col J. Riggall MBE, Mr J. Knightall, Mr and Mrs J. Dawson, Mr and Mrs I. Howlett, Mr R. Ingamells, Mrs A. Lane and Mrs A. Knightall for delivering and collection poppy boxes and collecting tins and to those who counted the collection at Prince William of Gloucester Barracks. Also thanks for all your generous donations, making this another excellent year. Thanks also to Isaac Newton School for the trialling of the new school boxes and raising £248.57. We hope the infants will try them next year.
