Grantham Journal letter: Stop cycling on footpaths

In Straight to the Point (Journal, January 4), JJ Kilgallon said he was not riding his bike into town as the pavements were so bad.

This person should not be riding a bike on the footpath anyway and if our overpaid coppers did their job, they would have stopped it years ago. Now everyone thinks they have the right to do this, which they haven’t.

It is an offence to ride a bicycle on the footpath and has been ever since I can remember.
