Grantham Journal letter: Well done to emergency services
Two weeks ago, on the worst Sunday of this winter, I had need to call the 111 service. What a response!
The paramedic was here in minutes, soon followed by the ambulance, which took me to Grantham Hospital and straight into a cubicle in A&E, with a nurse in attendance. A doctor came shortly afterwards.
I was there for several hours while numerous samples were taken, and tests carried out with the nurse checking on me regularly.
Luckily, I was allowed home, but the care I received from the caring staff at our wonderful hospital, was without doubt, the best you could wish for.
Thanks to them all.
