Grantham Journal letter: You eased my distress

On Thursday, January 31, I had the misfortune to have my purse stolen while shopping in Sainsbury’s on London Road.

I would like to record my sincere thanks to all who came to my assistance - the staff of Sainsbury’s, the police who interviewed me, and the lady and gentleman who found the time to stay and enquire if there was anything they could do to help, and did not pass by on the other side!

There is, indeed, much kindness in this small town for which I was very grateful last Thursday.
