Grantham Lions’ achievements are recognised
Grantham Lions John Dickenson amnd Keith Dowsett.
A long service award was presented to John Dickenson after 25 years as a Grantham Lion.
President Keith Dowsett presented the award at a ceremony on Thursday.
Also awarded was Steve Harrison, marking 20 years’ service, while Godfrey Mackinder was acknowledged for winning the Senior Achiever Award in the recent Journal Grantham is Great Awards 2012.
Mr Dowsett also enrolled new member Councillor Mike Taylor.
Mr Dowsett said: “It gives me great pleasure to make these awards and enrol a new member at the same time. Twenty and 25 years dedicated long service to serving the community of Grantham is an achievement that should not go unrecognised.”
