Grantham man who died in Gonerby crash is identified
A Grantham man who was killed in a car crash on Friday night has been identified as 22-year-old Matthew Aubrook, of Coxmoor Close.
Mr Aubrook died when his car hit a wall at the junction between Belton Lane and Newark Hill in Great Gonerby at 9pm on Friday. He was alone in his grey Ford Focus and no other vehicles were involved.
He was married with two young children and worked for Totemic.
Police are appealing for witnesses. Anyone who was in the area around 9pm on Friday and either saw the Ford Focus collide with the wall or saw it before the collision is asked to contact 101 or the Lincolnshire Police witness appeal line on 01522 558855.
This is the second fatality on the county’s roads this year.
