Grantham Passage were officially launched as the town branch of Sainsbury’s charity of the year last week.

The supermarket is supporting the charity in its project to create a dedicated drop-in centre for the homeless.

Sainsbury’s charity co-ordinator Amy Brooks said: “There is a stigma around homelessness, but when we heard from Passage we realised it could happen to anyone.”

As well as fund-raising there will be a designated trolley in store for customers to put food donations.

You can also help Passage’s project by calling co-ordinator Mike Monaghan on 564809.
