Gusts of wind bring down large tree on the A607 at Grantham

Heavy winds have brought down a tree in a busy Grantham road.

The huge tree fell down in Manthorpe Road (A607) this afternoon. Lincolnshire County Council workers brandishing chainsaws are working to clear the branches while police officers divert traffic through Manthorpe estate back on to the A607.

Nobody was injured, nor vehicles struck.
