Man assaulted in Grantham with ‘rounders bat’
Police are appealing for information after an assault in Grantham in which a man was hit with what is believed to be a rounders bat.
The incident took place between 6.30pm and 6.50pm in New Street, Grantham, on January 30. The victim, a 26-year-old man, was approached by two men. One of the men hit the victim on the arm with the bat.
He was not seriously hurt. One of the offenders was around 5ft 10in tall and of slim build and the other was around 6ft 2in tall and stocky. Both were wearing dark clothing and balaclavas.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen these men hanging around the area at that time to get in touch with them as soon as possible.
