HAVING no money did not stop a man picking up six pizzas from a Grantham supermarket and walking out with them under his arm.
Andrew Knock, 35, of Alexandra Road, Grantham, admitted taking the pizzas from Sainsbury’s, in London Road, on August 19.
Judith Armstrong, defending, said Knock used to work but was taken ill and drink problems followed.
She said: “It was a foolish error of judgement, he is clearly looking to put all matters behind him in the future.”
Knock, who is getting support from the Beaconsfield Centre, was fined £65 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge. He was in breach of a conditional discharge but no action was taken.
