THE Marie Curie Cancer Care Grantham Fund-raising Group was officially launched at the Priory Banqueting Centre recently.

The aim of the group, which is made up of volunteers, is to increase awareness of the charity and to raise funds to support the Lincolnshire nursing service.

A team of nurses work in Lincolnshire to provide care in people’s homes until the end of their lives. Marie Curie Cancer Care only deal with terminally ill patients and although cancer is specifically referred to they also deal with all types of terminal illness.
