A committed member of staff is retiring after 22 years with Bottesford Primary School.
Starting in 1992 by patrolling the school crossing, Jane Willcock then became a learning support assistant and since 1996 has been the school’s premises officer.
Headteacher Louise McGrory said: “Jane has been a model employee and hugely committed to the role, often going beyond the call of duty.
“She has worked tirelessly to ensure the school is in super condition, well-maintained and repaired and a bright clean environment to work in.”
Louise highlighted how Jane’s knowledge of the school’s building and grounds has been invaluable to staff, including to herself and former headteachers.
She added: “Jane will be greatly missed by all - the pupils, governors, parents and staff. We wish her well in her retirement.”
