New venue sought so people can give blood in Grantham

A new venue for blood donations is being sought in Grantham.

Blood donations used to be given at Springfield Business and Conference Centre but the venue is no longer available

Anyone who has any suggestions and offers is asked to contact Simon Blakeman, Area Donor Relations Manager for NHS Blood Transplant on 0114 3584 902 or email: simon.blakeman@nhsbt.nhs.uk.

The main criteria for blood donor venues are toilet and parking facilities and good access for vehicles and equipment.

Anyone aged between 17-65, weighing more than 50 kg (7 stone 12lbs) and in general good health could potentially start saving lives by becoming a blood donor. There is no upper age limit for donors who have donated in the last two years.
