Others have to pay for courses, why shouldn’t Grantham MP Nick Boles?
Forgive me, but I was under the illusion that courses could only be claimed if the course directly helped him in his work.
When does speaking across the breakfast table have anything to do with his work?
In these days of cutbacks and colleges struggling to get by, due to continued funding cuts and changes in funding criteria, there are many people out there who are looking to enrol on courses but cannot, due to the cost of courses or they do not meet the criteria to be funded for courses.
He is earning a decent wage as an MP – far more than the vast majority of the people he claims to serve – and he cannot meet the cost of a language course that is for his own benefit.
