Owl missing from Ropsley

Lincolnshire Police

Lincolnshire Police

A Ropsley resident is distressed at the loss of their pet owl which disappeared last night.

The male white-faced Scops owl has gone missing from a house in Ropsley, last seen on his perch in the garden wearing his tag and leather lead.

As the bird is not wild the owner is concerned that having been brought up in captivity he will not be used to hunting, although it is hoped that he will stay in the area.

If you see the owl please contact Lincolnshire Police on 101 and quote incident 85 of May 20 so he can returned to his owner.
