Pink ladies - and men - at PAS (Grantham) support cancer charity

Every year, staff at a Grantham factory don their prettiest pink outfits and bake cakes to raise money for Breast Cancer Campaign.

The team at PAS (Grantham), based at Easton near Grantham, have supported the charity’s annual Wear it Pink campaign for the past several years.

Human resources manager Mandi Jowett said: “We have supported this event for many years now – and everyone joins in the fun wearing something pink .

“When we are going round the site selling cakes to raise money we make everyone in our path participate – throwing a pink feather boa round their necks and taking a photograph of them.

“It’s great fun!”

This year fund-raising shenanigans raised £320 for the charity, which funds research into breast cancer and ultimately hopes to find a cure.

PAS (Grantham) employees raised £160 by uying cakes, while the potato processing plant matched that amount, totalling £320.
