Planning officers recommend accepting turbine plans in villages

TWO proposals which would see wind turbines built in villages around Grantham are to be accepted or rejected by councillors next week.

The first proposal, at Cartlon Scroop, would see two turbines standing almost 40m built at Lodge Farm, Main Street.

The second proposal would see three 15m high turbines built at Doddington Lane, Claypole. Planning officers are recommending district councillors accept both proposals.

Councillors will decide at their meeting on Tuesday at 1pm in the council offices.
