Police find £500,000 worth of cannabis in Grantham raid
POLICE raided a commercial unit in Grantham and discovered half-a-million pounds worth of cannabis inside.
Officers raised the unit on Thursday and found a huge wooden-framed structure had been built within the unit to contain the cannabis growing area.
This had been rigged up with extensive ventilation and hydroponics lighting systems.
Two men were arrested at the scene and taken to Grantham Police Station.
A 27-year-old man of no fixed abode was charged with cannabis production.
A 17-year-old man was charged with cannabis cultivation.
