A series of public engagement events have been announced by Lincolnshire Police and will take place across Lincolnshire during the summer.
The event in Grantham is scheduled for September 2, between 10am and 3.30pm on St Peter’s Hill.
It gives people the opportunity to talk to officers and for officers to listen to the public.
A police spokesman said: “In many respects they formalise what officers and police community support officers do every day – but these extra days provide opportunities for more in-depth chats and interactions. They also offer the chance for people to meet and find out about officers with more specialist roles who they would not normally meet.”
The content and structure of each event will vary depending on availability of local officers, but most will feature a dog van, roads policing unit vehicles and officers, including the stars of Channel 5’s Police Interceptors, and opportunities to speak to senior officers and the police and crime commissioner Alan Hardwick.
