Police seek Special Constables with Grantham recruitment
VOLUNTEER police officers in Grantham are being sought by Lincolnshire Police.
A special recruitment drop-in day is being held at the Guildhall in St Peter’s Hill, Grantham on Saturday, June 16 from 11am until 3pm.
Supt Steve Woodcock, Head of the Special Constabulary, said: “As a Special Constable there is a chance to meet people from a variety of backgrounds in an even wider range of situations.
“Officers learn much about human nature, teamwork and increase their ability to cope with the unexpected.”
Training on appointment involves an induction course followed by an ongoing training programme.
