Pupils’ high praise for fact-filled festival
DUDLEY House School would like to say a big thank you to the organisers of the Gravity Fields Festival last week.
Our junior pupils had the opportunity to learn about forces, visit an apothecary shop and enjoy hands-on science at Woolsthorpe Manor.
Here’s what some of the children had to say about the events:
l “I really enjoyed watching the ‘Feel the Force’ show – the men from the Science Museum made it so much fun.”
l “The Apothecary was hilarious; we made our own tablets and medicines.”
l “The trip to Woolsthorpe Manor was brilliant, as the actors really got into character, which made the experience much more real.”
l “We enjoyed the experiments in the science room.”
l “Thank you for putting so much effort into the Gravity Fields week. I enjoyed every minute of it!”
Congratulations to everyone involved in putting together this amazing week of science and fun.
