Robber steals woman’s handbag in Castlegate
ANOTHER woman fell victim to a handbag snatcher last night when she was getting items out of her car in Castlegate, Grantham.
The 77-year-old woman was standing by her car boot at 10.15pm when a man approached her assaulted her and stole her handbag.
She was knocked to the floor and left shaken by the incident.
The man, who is described as white, 5ft8 - 5ft10 and wearing dark clothing, ran towards Elmer Street.
Anyone who has information about the incident or who has found a black handbag should contact police on 0300 111 0300 quoting incident 512 of September 9.
