Santa helps Grantham Lions raise over £2,800
Grantham Lions with Santa.
Generous families in Grantham donated an impressive £2,866 when Santa Claus paid the town a visit.
Accompanied by members of Grantham Lions Club, Santa travelled about the town aboard his sleigh, asking for donations towards local charities and good causes.
Lions club president Keith Dowsett said: “We have had a very enjoyable Santa’s sleigh collection again this year and are most grateful to all the support given to us around the town. We look forward to using this money to help good causes and those that are less fortunate than ourselves.”
Thanks go to volunteer helpers from the Army and police cadets.
