If you didn’t make it to the Christmas market and family fun day in Grantham on Sunday here is what you missed.
Hundreds of families made the most of a bright, sunny day in the town centre, where a host of attractions were put on.
As well as a festive market and fun fair in Market Place and Westgate, there were stalls and attractions in The George Centre, craft stalls in the Guildhall ballroom and lots of festivities on the Guildhall green.
South Kesteven District Council was once again joined by volunteers from Grantham Carnival and Events Group in putting on the event. The events group organised street entertainment in the form of The Tinselators, who cheekily attached tinsel to everyone and everything, reindeer, a Santa’s Grotto, face painting, an afternoon programme of music in the marquee, carol singing by the Christmas tree following the lights switch-on by Mayor of Grantham Frank Turner, and more.
