Players from Stoke Rochford Golf Club marked their successful fund-raising of £1,600 for the Woodland Trust by standing alongside one of 50 young beech trees planted on the course.

The Woodland Trust is the club’s charity of the year, to which they donated 25 trees with a further 25 supplied by 2013 Lady Captain Marion Carvath.

Mrs Carvath (pictured fourth from left) was amongst the group of Wednesday morning golfers who posed for photos by the newly planted trees.
