Trees in Gonerby Hill Foot mark the Queen’s diamond jubilee
Tree planting at Gonerby Hill Foot.
Two mountain ash trees now stand in Gonerby Hill Foot as a commemoration of the Queen’s diamond jubilee.
The trees were planted by members of Gonerby Hill Foot WI, thanks to a donation made by speaker David Derby and funds raised through a raffle held by members.
The group is keen to attach plaques, and would like to hear from anyone who can help compelte the project. If you can offer help, call club president Carolyn Turner on 07751 213515.
