UPDATE: Accident closes A52 - air ambulance called
AN accident involving a car and a lorry closed the A52 this afternoon.
The accident took place on Nottingham Road near Sedgebrook at around 1.30pm today (Friday).
A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said an air ambulance was called to the scene following reports of people being trapped in one of the vehicles.
Fire crews were also called to help free those trapped.
UPDATE: The road is now open again but with heavy traffic reported and delays of around 10 minutes.
Normal conditions are expected from 6pm.
