UPDATE: Body found is that of missing Grantham woman

A body found this week in a Grantham park has been confirmed as that of missing woman Alexandra Dryburgh.

The 55-year-old woman, of Belton Grove in Grantham, was reported missing on Monday, with an appeal from police to help locate her issued to media on Tuesday morning.

However, on Tuesday aftermnoon, a body was found in Queen Elizabeth Park, an area she liked to walk through regularly.

Searches for Ms Dryburgh ended, although the formal identifaction was not confirmed until today (Friday).
