Two thousand cannabis plants with a street value of £1.2 million were found in a police raid on commercial premises in Grantham today (Thursday).
Officers raided two large sheds in Spring Gardens, off London Road, just after noon. Two men, aged 32 and 35, of no fixed abode, were arrested.
Inspector Gary Stewart said: “A significant amount of drugs have been taken off the streets and will now be destroyed. We hope this demonstrates our commitment to tackling drugs and organised crime in Grantham.”
