The Grantham Journal hosted its annual Grantham is Great Awards at the Guildhall last night to highlight the excellent work done by many people in the area.
Among the award winners was Laura Graves who won the Youth Achiever award. Laura is head girl at KGGS and heavily involved with sports charity Inspire+. Laura is also a brownie and guide young leader and badminton coach and player.
After winning her award, she said: “It’s very nice to win the award. I hope it reflects everything I do. It’s nice to have the support especially being up against the other good nominees.”
Runners-up in the Youth Achiever category were Georgina Haude and Annabelle Gascoyne.
