Tonight, the spotlight shined on winners in the Grantham Journal Business Awards.

Finalists shortlisted by an expert panel of judges attended the glittering awards ceremony in the grounds of Belton House, in a VIP marquee right in front of the magnificent house itself.

A wonderful night was had by all, including runners-up, sponsors and judges.

We can now annoucne the winners in each of the categories. They are:

** Great Food Award - Crown and Anchor, Welby

** Best New Start-up - Busters Blooms

** Green Achievement Award - Blue Castle

** Apprentice of the Year - Joe Kerby, Blue Castle

** Best Not-for-Profit Enterprise - Kesteven Rideability

** Young Entrepreneur of the Year - Ellis Brown, Genes Barbers

** Business Innovation Award - The Trickling Tap

** Customer Care Award - Gilder Care

** Business of the Year - Treasure Transport

** Independent Retailer of the Year - Empire Designerwear

** Businessperson of the Year - David Charles

** Contribution to the Community Award - Gravity FM

** People Development Award - Parker Hannifin

** Employee of the Year - Sam Farkas, Courageous Success

Congratulations go to not only those who won awards, but also the runners-up, all of whom were heavily praised by judges.
