Long-serving hospital staff are rewarded for their work

STAFF at Grantham Hospital who have worked for the NHS for more than 25 years have been thanked for their dedication at a long-service awards ceremony.

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust recently arranged four long-service award ceremonies for staff, which took place in October and November.

Awards were handed out to 199 members of staff from Lincoln County Hospital, Louth County Hospital, Pilgrim Hospital in Boston and Grantham and District Hospital who have worked in the NHS for either 25, 30, 35, 40 or 45 years.

The Grantham event was held in November at the Ramada Hotel.

Nine people received 25 year awards, seven received 30 year awards, two celebrated 35 years and one celebrated 40 years.

Staff received vouchers with a range of £100 to £200 value depending on the length of their service, a certificate and a lapel pin.
