MISS Abigail Hemming, daughter of Ian and Marion Hemming, of Newport Avenue, Grantham, and Mr Jordan Curtis, son of Helen Curtis of Burton, Stoke on Trent, and the late Chris Curtis, were married at St Sebastian’s Church, Great Gonerby.
The service was conducted by the Rev Peter Hopkins.
Given away by her father, the bride wore an ivory chiffon, strapless gown with a ruched bodice, emellished with crystals and a chapel-length train. She carried hand-tied ivory roses and freesias.
Bridesmaids were Jessica Greenwood, bride’s sister and Liarna Curtis, bridegroom’s sister, wearing floor-length, mocha-coloured silk chiffon bandeau gowns with ruching to the bodice and an empire line. They carried hand-tied ivory freesias.
Flower girl was Freya Curtis, couple’s daughter, wearing an ivory, calf-length dress with a French lace bodice and a tulle skirt.
Best man was Calum Venn. Ushers were James McCabe and David Clayton.
A reception was held at Woodland Waters, Ancaster, and honeymoon followed in Belek, Turkey.
The couple will live in Grantham.
Abigail is an accounts assistant, who enjoys spending time with her family. Jordan is an electrician and he likes playing tennis.
