MISS Clare Bennett, daughter of Sue Bailey, of Boston, Lincolnshire, and John Bennett-Collins of Crete, Greece, and Mr Steven Green, son of John and Linda Green, of Grantham, were married at St John’s Church, March, Cambridgeshire.
The ceremony was conducted by Rev Peter Baxendall.
Given away by her father, the bride wore an ivory chiffon, fitted strapless dress with softly flared skirt and corset tie-back with full-length veil. She carried hand-tied ivory roses and hydrangea with diamantes.
Bridesmaids were Olivia Green, couple’s daughter, Lainer Sumner, niece, Debbie Whalley, bride’s sister, and Frankie Eddleston, bride’s cousin. They wore green, full-length chiffon dresses with diamante detail. They carried hand tied ivory roses with diamantes.
Page boy was Kade Whalley, nephew, wearing a black herringbone suit with Prince Edward jacket, ivory and green waistcoat with green ruche and handkerchief.
Best man was Asher Green, the couple’s son.
The reception was held at Cassanos, March, and a honeymoon followed in Corfu.
The couple will live in Cambridge.
Clare is a carer. She enjoys arts and crafts, gardening, walking the dog and scuba diving. Steven is a dispatch co-ordinator. He enjoys scuba diving, gymnastics and is a car enthusiast.
