MISS Deborah Hardy, daughter of Derrick and Jean Hardy, of Highcliffe Road, Grantham, and Barry Whale, son of Kevin Whale, of Winchester, were married at St John the Evangelist Church, Manthorpe.
The service was conducted by the Rev Jill Potts.
Given away by her father, the bride wore an ivory, tulle dress with satin waistband, decorated with crystals and pearls. She carried copper ribbon roses which she made.
Bridesmaids were Samantha Cross and Clair Johnstone, wearing copper and ivory halter-neck dresses. They carried ivory and copper ribbon roses, made by the bride.
Ushers were Christine Barrett, bride’s sister, and Peter Treasure, bridegroom’s brother.
The reception was held at Belton Park Golf Club and a honeymoon followed in New York.
The couple will live in Shrewsbury.
Deborah is a production executive and her interests include climbing, ski-ing and playing the drums.
Barry is a member of HM Forces and he enjoys climbing, mountaineering and ski-ing.
