MISS Faith Redmile, daughter of Mrs Wendy Redmile and the late Mr Ken Redmile, of Goodliff Road, Grantham, and Mr Alan Hayes, son of Mr George and Mrs Christine Hayes, of Thames Road, Grantham, were married at St Wulfram’s Church, Grantham.
The service was conducted by the Rev June Rowland.
Given away by her mother, the bride wore an ivory full length dress with ruched bodice and crystal detail. She carried a shower bouquet with rich purples and pinks, touches of ivory with trailing ivy and clematis and diamante.
Bridesmaids were Justine Redmile, bride’s sister and Tina Hayes, groom’s sister, and flowergirl was Esme Redmile-Hayes, couple’s daughter. Bridesmaids wore aubergine dresses and carried ivory avalanche roses with lavender and diamante detail, and Esme wore an ivory ballerina-style dress with aubergine ribbon around the waist and carried an ivory rose wand.
Page boy was Evan Redmile-Hayes, the couple’s son, who was also ring bearer. He wore a slate-grey tail suit with ivory waistcoat and cravat.
Best man was George Hayes, groom’s father. Ushers were David Edlington and David Hayes. The reception was held at Woodland Waters. A honeymoon was spent in Cornwall.
The couple will live in Grantham. Faith is a housewife and her interests include Zumba and spending time with her family. Alan is an engineer and his interests include fishing and aircraft. Photo: Maurice Taylor
