MR Anthony Burgoin, of Skillington, Lincolnshire, has died in Avery Lodge Care Home. He was 86.
Born in Tallington, Lincolnshire, he was the youngest son of Bonny and Mary Burgoin.
He attended Stamford School and went on to Cambridge University, where he boxed and rowed for Caius College.
After leaving Cambridge he served in the Royal Air Force, and was mainly based at RAF Cranwell. He was employed by the Ministry of Transport for around 40 years, retiring in 1985.
Mr Burgoin enjoyed cricket, rugby, gliding, sailing, dog showing and judging, field trialling and all gunwork with dogs.
The Rev John Bruce conducted the funeral service at Grantham Crematorium Chapel.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.
