MR Arthur Edward Lambley, of Barrowby, has died in Lincoln County Hospital. He was 81.
The son of Arthur and Lily Lambley, he was born in Billingborough.
He was the widower of Hilda Lambley, father to Martin, father-in-law to Liz, grandfather to Adam and Zoe and great-grandfather to Harry and Charlie.
After serving in the Royal Air Force he took employment at Aveling Barford. He then worked at Eddison Plant until leaving to work at Kontak Manufacturing. He returned to Eddison Plant as national parts manager, retiring in 1993.
Mr Lambley was the secretary and part of a team who formed Kontak Sports and Social Club.
He enjoyed gardening, a lunchtime pint and dining out.
Robert Holland conducted the funeral service at Grantham Crematorium Chapel.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.
