MR Christopher Stewart Williams, of Woolsthorpe-by-Belvoir, has died. He was 65.
Born in Hertford, he was the son of Leslie and Myrtle Williams and brother to Martin. He was raised in Ware, Hertfordshire.
After leaving college in Welwyn Garden City, he worked in London as an insurance broker.
In 1971 he emigrated to Canada but returned to England in 1983 and later met and married Christine.
For 21 years he worked as an agricultural field trials officer for Crop Management Information in Boothby Pagnell.
In 1997 he achieved a BSc in Earth Sciences with the Open University.
Mr Williams was interested in steam railways, gardening, classical music and blues and jazz.
The Rev John Cook conducted the funeral service at Grantham Crematorium Chapel.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.
