MR Eric Robert Sutton, formerly of Corby Glen, has died in Chandos House Care Home, Grantham. He was 83.
Mr Sutton was born in Dyke, near Bourne, Lincolnshire, the only son of Clara and Arthur Sutton. He moved to Morton prior to his marriage and then to Corby Glen.
He was a much-loved dad, granddad and great-granddad.
Mr Sutton worked as a builder labourer for Arthur Harwood, before going on to work as a builder/maintenance man for the Cholmeley estates.
He was a long-term member of Grantham Town Supporters’ Club, a member of Corby Glen Bowling Club and Grantham Indoor Bowling Club. He also enjoyed gardening.
The Rev Margaret Barton conducted the funeral service at Grantham Crematorium Chapel.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.
Donations were received for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
