Mr Terry Morgan, of Walsingham Drive, Corby Glen, has died at home. He was 72.
Born in Preston, Lancashire, he was the eldest son of Bill and Mary Morgan and brother to Barbara and John.
He has a son, Paul and daughter, Janet, from his first marriage.
After leaving school he served his apprenticeship at Leyland Motors. He moved around the country to further his career, eventually moving to Grantham, where he was employed at Kontak Manufacturing.
He married Carol in 1992 in Reno, USA, and enjoyed holidays in California and Las Vegas.
His interests included playing his keyboard, fishing, cribbage and his daily flutter on the horses.
In his earlier days he enjoyed squash, ballroom dancing, swimming and scuba diving.
The funeral service was held at Grantham Crematorium Chapel, conducted by Canon Andy Hawes.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.
Donations were received for St Barnabas Hospice.
