MRS Annie Elizabeth Shotliff, of Newton House Nursing Home, Grantham, has died there. She was 96.
Born in Ropsley in 1914, she was the daughter of John and Sarah Bramford.
She was married to George and they had three children Terrence, Judith and John. She is predeceased by her husband.
For many years she worked at the well-known Tony’s Transport Cafe, until her retirement.
Mrs Shotliff enjoyed going to the Granada bingo hall and socialising at Witham Place, where she had lived prior to going into care homes.
The Rev Janet Rogers conducted the funeral service at Grantham Crematorium Chapel.
Family mourners included: Terry and Jan Shotliff, Judy and Rex Willcock, John and Christine Shotliff, Mark Shotliff, Paul and Mandy Herman, Louise and Martin Bennett, Martine and Alan Bevan, Leigh and Claire Shotliff.
Other mourners included: David Bramford, Margaret and Eric Tuckwood, Roger and Sheila Simms, Brenda and John Dawson, Pam Matsell, Mrs Catterson, Mrs Munro, Mr A. Lane, Betty and Geoff Ellis, Michael Johnson, Caroline and Philip Cumming, Trevor Pick, Jean Bramford, Jackie Bramford, Ian Pick, Sandra Smith, Rick Fenton, Maria Haralampieva and John and Cathy Rose.
Funeral arrangements were by Co-operative Funeralcare, Bridge End Road, Grantham.
Donations for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance amount to £160 to date.
