Mrs A. M. Hare

MRS Audrey May Hare, of Rectory Close, Barrowby, has died in Grantham Hospital. She was 81.

Born in Barrowby in December 1930, she lived in the village all her life but for the last three years when she moved into St Edmunds Nursing Home, Grantham.

In 1961 she married Jim at All Saints’ Church, Barrowby.

Mrs Hare worked at Barfords of Belton, before moving to BMARC where she was a personal secretary.

For many years she was an active member of Barrowby British Legion and was a committee member and organiser of the annual flower and vegetable show.

The Rev Hopkins conducted the funeral service at All Saints’ Church, Barrowby.

Burial followed in the churchyard.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.

Donations were received for All Saints’ Church, Barrowby.
