MRS Doreen Ellis, of Highfield Crescent, Croxton Kerrial, has died in Lincoln County Hospital. She was 85.
Mrs Ellis was born in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.
She was a widow, having been married to the late Eric Ellis. She has a daughter, Jennifer, grandchildren, Michelle and Andrew and great-grandchildren, Ellie, Ewan, Gracie, Owen and Tyler.
For many years Mrs Ellis worked for Home Help.
She enjoyed watching sport on television and reading.
The Rev Rowena Bass conducted the funeral service at St Botolph and St John the Baptist Church, Croxton Kerrial. Burial followed in the churchyard.

Raithby, Caroline Raithby, Ros Hatherley, Mr and Mrs B. Lowe and Mr and Mrs R. Woodward.
Other mourners included: Barbara Jefferson, Nalda Shipman, Heather Evans, Natalie Evans, Juliet Marshall, Mrs Scarborough, Mrs Hirst, Professor K. J. Durrands, Dorothy Hazelwood, Joy Littlewood, Bob Fairbrother, and Phyllis Woods.
Funeral arrangements were by Geeson Funeral Directors, Westgate, Grantham.
