MRS Ethel Harriet Eliza Clay, of Shakespeare Avenue, Grantham, has died in Newton House Nursing Home, Grantham. She was 90.
Mrs Clay was born in Rauceby, in May 1922. She was one of four girls and one boy born to Mr and Mrs Bailey.
She is the widow of Allan Stephen Clay.
Mrs Clay had worked with Home Help and as a dinner lady at Little Gonerby School.
She enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with her two children, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was held at Grantham Crematorium Chapel, conducted by the Rev John Bruce.

Other mourners included: Julie and Roger Milward, Dave and Steph Lee, Ian and Christine Weston, Norma and Mark Fardell, Deborah Millington, Glenys Wheadon, Norah English, Mr and Mrs Coy, Mrs Phillips, Raymond Phillips, Riky Fenton, Chris Spencer, Janice Green, and David Wand.
Funeral arrangements were by Co-operative Funeral Care, Bridge End Road, Grantham.
