MRS Edith Mary Robinson, of Chandos House, Grantham, has died in Grantham Hospital. She was 88.
Born in Bicker, Lincolnshire, she was the daughter of Harry and Gladys Nix. She married Mally in 1942 and they had three children, Joyce, Cliff and the late Ann. Mrs Robinson had a very happy life and she will be missed by all her family and many friends.
Before her marriage she worked as a bus conductor in Sleaford. Later she worked at a local brewery, followed by work in a shoe factory and then Grantham Post Office. Her favourite job was helping out on her father’s farm.
She and her family enjoyed many happy holidays and after her husband’s death she continued to holiday in Cornwall with family and friends.
Her great love was her family and she was always interested in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Robert Holland conducted the funeral service at Grantham Crematorium Chapel.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.
Doantions were received for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance and staff at Chandos House.
