MRS Gillian Rosemary Sutton, of High Meadow, Grantham, has died in St Edmunds Nursing Home, Grantham. She was 77.
Born in Market Harborough, Leicestershire, she had two brothers David and John and a sister Pixie.
Mrs Sutton was formerly the deputy headteacher at Bottesford Primary School.
Her interests included gardening, knitting and spending time with her grandchildren Katherine and Johnathon.
The funeral service was held at All Saints Church, Barrowby, conducted by the Rev Peter Hopkin. Cremation followed in Grantham.
