Mrs Hilary Coy, has died in Newton House Nursing Home, Grantham. She was 65.
Born in Stathern, she was the daughter of Hilda and Thomas Pizer.
She attended Stathern School and later Melton Mowbray Grammar School, leaving aged 15, to begin work as a hairdresser in Nottingham.
She met Richard and they were married in October 1967 at Stathern Church. They have one son, Julian. Later, Mrs Coy returned to work at Woolworth’s in Nottingham, where she remained until her retirement at the age of 55.
The family lived in Mill Lane, Aslockton, then Dark Lane, and finally moving to Beverley’s Avenue six years ago.
Mrs Coy enjoyed gardening, walking, and holidays in Sicily and Menorca.
Initially she moved to a nursing home in West Bridgford and lattely moved into Newton House in Grantham.
A committal service was held at Grantham Crematorium Chapel, followed by a service at Whatton Church, conducted by the Rev Karl Przywala.
Family mourners included: Richard Coy, Julian and Tracey Coy, Gill Quibell, mark and Carol Gilbert, Loui Wakefield and Holly Maule.

Goodwin, Brenda Gilbert, Peter Fazackerly, Mick and Julie Emmerson, Ray Dawson, Victoria Page, Richard Sims, Leonard Payling, Ollie Campbell, Derek Jones, Janice Gibson, Eileen Abraham, Lindsay Evett, Mo and Rob Gordon and Brian Garton.
Funeral arrangements were by William Roberts and Sons, Devon Lane, Bottesford.
Donations were received for the Alzheimer’s Society.
