MRS June Taylor, of Barrowby Gate, Grantham, has died at home. She was 67.
Born in Grantham in June 1944, she was part of a large family of seven sisters and one brother.
She was educated at Harrowby Infants School, The National School and later St Wulfram’s School, Grantham.
After leaving school she began work at Woolworths, where she met her future husband, John. She left the company following the birth of their son, Stephen.
Mrs Taylor later worked for Mary and Graham Wheat until their retirement.
Her next job was at Morrisons, where she remained until her retirement.
She came out of retirement to work at the Tesco Express store on Winchester Road, and continued there until ill-health prevented this.
Her hobbies included knitting, reading and gardening. She loved to plan things and even planned her own funeral.
Mrs Taylor was a wonderful person, who would help anyone and she was well thought of by many.
The funeral service was held at Grantham Crematorium Chapel, conducted by Robert Holland.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.
Donations were received for Marie Curie Cancer Care, Macmillan Cancer Support and St Barnabas Grantham Hospice.
